Akihiko Watanabe
At the age of 22, he became a disciple of a potter and became independent at the age of 24. Opened Raijin Kiln in Hirashimizu, Yamagata Prefecture. Open solo exhibitions nationwide. He has been selected for a number of Japanese traditional handicraft exhibitions. In 2007, ceramic pots were delivered to the Royal Suite at Hotel Peninsula Tokyo. In 2008, he moved to Kanan-cho, Takata-gun, Shizuoka Prefecture, where he built a kiln and worked on creative activities.
